Terms of Service

These are the terms under which you use Kopi. We've written them plainly. If you need a signed enterprise MSA, email hello@kopi.sg.
1. What Kopi is
Kopi is an AI approval copilot for Lark. It reads approval submissions from your Lark workspace, runs AI analysis, and delivers advisory cards to approvers. Kopi is a copilot, not a replacement — the approver's click in Lark is always the final decision.
2. Free beta + Founding Member
- Kopi is free for all users during private beta, through September 30, 2026.
- Tenants that sign up during beta become Founding Members and qualify for 50% off list price for 12 months after launch (through Sep 2027).
- We will notify Founding Members at least 30 days before beta ends. There is no auto-charge during or immediately after beta.
- If we change the beta end date we'll notify existing tenants first. We will not shorten the notice period unilaterally.
3. Your responsibilities
- Only connect Lark apps you own or have permission to integrate.
- Keep your Lark App Secret and Kopi account credentials confidential.
- Don't use Kopi for any unlawful purpose, to process payment fraud, or to violate your Lark administrator's policies.
- You are responsible for the final approval decision. Kopi's recommendations are advisory.
4. Our responsibilities
- Keep the service running with best-effort availability (no formal SLA during beta).
- Handle your data per the Privacy Policy.
- Maintain tenant isolation — no pattern-memory sharing between customers.
- Notify you of breaking changes at least 14 days in advance where possible.
5. AI caveats
Kopi's AI is built on Claude (Anthropic). AI models occasionally produce wrong classifications or miss anomalies. We mitigate with conservative thresholds (e.g., pattern memory requires 2 approvals before trusting), but no AI is infallible.
If Kopi auto-passes an approval that shouldn't have passed, or flags one that shouldn't have been flagged, the liability for the resulting decision lies with the human approver, not with us. We're a second pair of eyes; we're not the decision-maker.
6. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Kopi's total liability to you in any 12-month period is capped at the amount you paid us during that period. During beta, when you pay nothing, our liability is capped at SGD 100.
We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages — including lost profits, lost data not attributable to our negligence, or business interruption.
7. Termination
You can cancel your tenant anytime from the dashboard or by emailing us. We can terminate your access if you breach these terms, but we will give you at least 14 days' written notice unless the breach is egregious (e.g., fraud).
On termination, your data is deleted within 30 days. You can export pattern memory and approval history before termination.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by Singapore law. Disputes go to the Singapore courts or, if both parties agree in writing, to SIAC arbitration.
9. Changes
We can update these terms. Material changes are announced 14 days before they take effect via the email on file.
